Lady Pirates Return to Winning Ways

The Independence women's basketball team played for their final non-conference home game Wednesday night vs Tabor College JV. This game had a familiar feel to it as the Lady Pirates cruised to an 87-43 victory. Indy went a perfect 3-0 at the Fieldhouse in non-conference action by a average score of 87-52. "It is always special to come out and perform well in front of the home crowd." said Head Coach Tony Turner. "Hopefully we can get some of these fans to make the short trip to Coffeyville in two weekends to help create a home game atmosphere".

Wichita native Robertson Olanya led all scorers with a career-high 17 points.

ICC travels to Dodge City, KS for a two day Lady Conq Classic. Indy will take on Lamar Community College Friday, Nov. 16 at 6pm and Dodge City Community College Saturday, Nov. 17 at 6pm.
