Assistant Men's
Basketball Coach

Josh Berry begins his second season as an assistant men's
basketball coach at Independence Community College.
Berry helped lead ICC to a 26-6 overall record, a #16 national
ranking, and a second place conference finish.
Berry completed his college eligibility and graduated with
a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from
Kansas Wesleyan University. During his senior year at Wesleyan,
Berry earned second-team All-KCAC. Berry also helped lead the
Coyotes to a 28-4 record and a #6 national ranking. The Coyotes
also won the KCAC conference championship and tournament
championship, as well as advancing to the second round on the
NAIA national tournament.

Prior to Kansas Wesleyan, Berry played under Coach Tommy DeSalme at
Sterling College and helped lead the school to their first ever
national tournament appearance and a KCAC conference tournament
championship. Berry's leadership was an integral part to
the success of both the Sterling College and Kansas Wesleyan
programs.
Berry is originally from Tulsa, OK and graduated from Booker T.
Washington High School. During his senior season in 2002,
Berry helped lead Booker T. to an undefeated record (27-0) and a
Class 5A Oklahoma State Championship.
