  Gifts to Fund The Future

We are excited about the Veterinary Technology Program at ICC, and we hope you are too.  Donor support will help catapult the Veterinary Technology Program at ICC to a level of excellence.  With your help, students, faculty, and the community will reap the impact of your support.

Veterinary Technicians are the "nurse practitioners" of the animal health care industry.  They assist with day-to-day functions in animal clinics, research facilities, zoos, and wildlife facilities.  Vet Techs, working under the supervision of a licensed Vet, provide support for all aspects of animal care.

Through real world training and excellent educational programming at ICC, graduates will receive an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology.

Every donor, large and small, has a part to play in the future of the ICC Veterinary Technology Program.  There are many ways to get involved, and many opportunities to give.

Giving through the ICC Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, offers the donor a tax benefit.  An outright gift of cash qualifies for a full 100% charitable deduction.  This deduction is limited to 50% of your AGI in the year of the gift.  Any excess deduction may be carried forward for five additional years.

ICC is participating in the Kansas Community College Tax Credit Program.  The program offers businesses and individuals State and Federal Tax credits while helping ICC with our capital improvement plan.  If you are looking for ways to bring your tax dollars home to Independence and lessen your tax bill.

Together, we can build greatness!
