Residency requires six
months to establish as provided by Kansas law (KSA-71-406). Adults
who enroll at ICC who have not been residents of the State of
Kansas for six months prior to enrollment for any term or session
are considered non-residents and pay the out-of-state or foreign
student tuition. Minors (under 18 years of age) whose parents have
not been residents of the State of Kansas for six months prior to
enrollment are also considered non-residents. The Registrar can
answer questions about specific residency requirements.

Spring and Fall Sessions
First through 5th school day – Full Refund.
6th through 10th school day – 50% Refund.
Summer Sessions
First day/night of class – Full Refund.
Remaining Class days – No Refunds.
Video Classes
2 days after checking out video.
Evening, Mini or Mid-Term Sessions
Withdrawal before second class meeting – Full Refund.
Remaining class days – No Refunds.
NOTE: To receive a refund, the student must officially drop
classes and have it recorded in the ICC Enrollment Center within
the stated refund period of time given above.

Any student who has enrolled must pay all
tuition and fees by the 15th day of the semester. If this is not done,
the student will be subject to dismissal from any or all classes. These
obligations must be met before a student is officially enrolled and able
to receive a transcript for the current semester.
