order to proceed with your file.
If your program of study requires special
admissions criteria, please follow those
guidelines.

ACT scores
are used for placement purposes. Schedule an
appointment with the
Admissions Department
to complete the Math and English placement
exams (if you are a first-time college
student and have not taken the ACT or if you
have not completed a college-level math
and/or English course). ICC uses
COMPASS exams
for placement. The first two exam attempts
are free of charge. A $5.00 fee is assessed
for each additional exam, and a picture ID
is required. Click
here for
ICCs Placement cut-off scores and
developmental course process.
Set an
appointment to meet with an Academic
Advisor. If you are enrolling in the summer,
you may be advised by Admissions personnel.
If you are a full-time student, you will be
assigned an Academic Advisor. Academic
Advisors are selected based on your major or
arbitrarily through a distribution process
if undeclared.
Schedule an
appointment to attend an
orientation
session. If you wait until school starts to
establish your computer account, Windows
login username and password, e-mail, and
Blackboard account, you will be behind
before you start.
