Science and Math
The six science and
mathematics faculty members at ICC take pride in the success of our
programs. During the past 20 years our primary goals have been to
provide a foundation of general education which will enable students to
function successfully as members of society and to provide Associate
Degrees and transfer programs that parallel the first two years of
4-year colleges and universities.
Hundreds of our former students have
graduated from colleges and universities in the past 25 years. These
graduates majored in disciplines such as Pharmacy, Medicine,
Engineering, Chemistry, Geology, Environmental Biology, Mathematics,
Physics, etc. In fact, very few career fields in the area of Science and
Mathematics exist that would not include at least one of our former
students.
Our philosophy on evaluating our
science and math program we offer at ICC is quite simple - "Success
is our most important product." As long as we continue giving
students two years of quality education, and they continue to meet their
desired educational goals we are successful.
