ABE/GED Options

Make Your Choice

Adult Education Students can choose from 3 Options.

  • The Class Option allows students to attend 5-6 week sessions that will improve their reading, writing, math, employability, and technology skills and prepare them to pass the GED tests.

  • The GED Testing Option allows candidate(s) to sign up, pay, and take the Official GED Practice Tests (OPT).  If the student passes the OPT test, then candidate(s) can sign up, pay, and take the Official GED Tests.

  • On-line study option allows students to have flexibility in their study time.  Students opting to take this option are required to begin with 12 hours in the Center (face to face) prior to computer on-line access and then a minimum of 8 hours per week with 4 hours (face to face) each month in the Center.
